Finalmente infatti in Sardegna, come nel resto d’Italia, oltre che in Europa dopo il lungo periodo di lockdown, pian piano con grande accortezza e attenzione, le attività riaprono e le persone riprendono la loro vita
In questo difficile periodo appena trascorso abbiamo vissuto una situazione del tutto inedita e abbiamo tutti dovuto rinunciare a tanto anche delle nostre abitudini e della nostra libertà
Nella nostra isola nel frattempo è esplosa la primavera e la natura rigogliosa offre mille colori e profumi. Le nostre magnifiche spiagge, il mare cristallino, i tramonti mozzafiato, gli scogli di granito e le montagne possenti vi aspettano per una vacanza ristoratrice e noi abbiamo una grande voglia di condividere le meraviglie della nostra isola con tutti voi
Da parte nostra, stiamo lavorando alacremente per preparare le nostre attività e riaprire a fine mese in piena sicurezza. Naturalmente, noi del Portolano, saremo qui ad accogliervi e deliziarvi!

It all started twenty years ago as an adventure. Today it is our passion. Receiving our guests from all over the world on our terrace facing Tavolara Island in Porto San Paolo in Sardinia and let them taste our specialties prepared by our chef with the products that this marvelous island offers.

After a rainy winter Sardinia finally presents itself incredibly colorful to its visitors, with amazingly green fields and the Mediterranean maquis full of yellow and white spots, thanks to the broom and asphodelo flowering.
This is the right time to open the terraces to our dear guests at the Ristorante Il Portolano.

A conclusione della splendida estate 2017 abbiamo organizzato la scalata in cima a Tavolara con i nostri carissimi collaboratori. E’ stato un esperienza unica salire sulla Tavolara e guardare la nostra costa, Porto San Paolo e il Portolano da un’altra perspettiva.
Ringraziamo tutto lo staff per la loro preziosissima collaborazione.

Summer has arrived. We are ready to welcome you on our magnificent terrace for a summer lunch lulled by the sea breeze or for a romantic candle lit dinner. For our guests who love raw fish we now offer Oysters from the nearby San Teodoro as well as a crudité including crustaceans from Siniscola.

Porto San Paolo hosts a small but prestigious film festival. The festival’s name is given by its location: the Tavolara Island.
The famous festival guests include directors, actors, journalists and movie critics that are often seen dining at “Il Portolano” restaurant.
The picturesque harbour in front of our restaurant is home to the many boats that provide an easy shuttle service to and from Tavolara Island.

The kitchen is run by Luca Sanna, a young Sardinian Chef, who chooses the best local and seasonal products with care. The menu offers great choices of fish dishes and meals with tasty local meets.
We are across from Tavolara Island, by the beach of the fishermen’s village Porto San Paolo, located 12 km South of Olbia and 14 Km North of San Teodoro.
