The kitchen is run by Luca Sanna, a young Sardinian Chef, who chooses the best local and seasonal products with care. The menu offers great choices of fish dishes and meals with tasty local meets.
We are across from Tavolara Island, by the beach of the fishermen’s village Porto San Paolo, located 12 km South of Olbia and 14 Km North of San Teodoro.

Porto San Paolo hosts a small but prestigious film festival. The festival’s name is given by its location: the Tavolara Island.
The famous festival guests include directors, actors, journalists and movie critics that are often seen dining at “Il Portolano” restaurant.
The picturesque harbour in front of our restaurant is home to the many boats that provide an easy shuttle service to and from Tavolara Island.
