Opening Easter 2023

Dear customers,

Il Portolano reopens on April 7th, 2023.

We are very glad to launch the summer season and look forward to delight you with our best dishes combined with a glass of wine, to be tasted on our terrace overlooking the sea and Tavolara Island, enjoying the lovely summer weather.

 

 

Opening hour:

every day from April 7th onwards

for lunch from 12am to 2.30pm

for dinner from 7pm to 10.30pm

Per la stagione estiva 2023 cerchiamo le seguenti figure da integrare nel nostro team:

  • Capo partita
  • Commis di cucina

 Il/la Capo partita si occuperà della partita assegnata in collaborazione con lo chef e dovrà garantire la qualità secondo le esigenze della struttura.

richiediamo
– comprovata esperienza nella medesima mansione presso strutture ristorative con elevati standard di servizio
– conoscenza delle varie partite, capacità di gestire in autonomia la partita assegnata
– predisposizione al team work
– capacità di lavorare sotto pressione in un ambiente giovane e dinamico
-​ conoscenza delle normative HACCP
-​ ​la conoscenza dei reparti di pasticceria e panificazione è considerata un plus

Il/la Commis di cucina seguirà le indicazioni dello chef e del capo partita durante la mise en place ed il servizio.

richiediamo
– esperienza lavorativa di almeno 6 mesi in strutture analoghe
-​ capacità di comprensione e di apprendimento delle tecniche di lavorazione
-​ predisposizione al team work
-​ cura del proprio posto di lavoro e delle attrezzature utilizzate
-​ ​ voglia di lavorare sotto pressione in un ambiente giovane e dinamico

offriamo
– ambiente di lavoro serio, sereno e ben organizzato in una cornice meravigliosa sul mare
– contratto stagionale di almeno 5 mesi, 40 ore settimanali, risposo settimanale garantito
– retribuzione basata sul contratto collettivo nazionale del lavoro più incentivi tenendo conto della posizione e dell’esperienza
– Possibilità di vitto e alloggio

Opening 2022 at Easter

Spring has arrived! The surrounding landscapes turn yellow as the flowers blossom. For us, that means, it’s the glorious time to prepare for the reopening of our restaurant.

We are happy to announce that starting on April 14th you’ll find us open and ready to welcome you. We wish to make you try all our delights whilst drinking a tasteful glass of wine in a relaxed and peaceful setting directly by the sea.

Opening hours:

Every day starting April 14th

 Lunch from 12am to 2.30pm

 Dinner from 7pm to 10.30pm

Il Portolano: location perfetta per chi viaggia in moto

I vacanzieri su due ruote segnalano il nostro ristorante come location perfetta per le loro soste.

E non solo perché si affaccia sul mare di Tavolara ma anche perché sul retro del  Portolano c’è un ampio parcheggio. È uno dei nostri vantaggi, ancor più apprezzato dai motociclisti, che trovano appunto lo spazio ideale per parcheggiare le loro moto, in particolare quando si spostano in gruppo con parecchi mezzi, in un’area ampia e controllabile a vista, la condizione perfetta per godersi il pranzo in totale serenità.

Menu spring 2021 – Il Portolano

Dear guests

With pleasure we present our new menu ready to be tasted at “Il Portolano” from May 21st, onwards.

To launch the new season, “Il Portolano” has included new dishes on its menu, we are sure you will enjoy! Our selection of “antipasti” with the best products from our sea combined with seasonal vegetables are just the right start for your holiday on the island.

Not to be missed, among the first courses, our homemade ravioli stuffed with chickpeas and seasoned with scampi, cherry tomatoes and thyme.

Do you prefer a Sardinian shepherd dish? Then we recommend our pulled lamb prepared with oriental spices creating an interesting fusion of tradition and innovation.

For our vegetarian guests and not only, we propose our pumpkin and oven-roasted Jerusalem artichokes, with glazed lentil or the homemade whole meal pasta with pesto, vegetables and seeds.

Opening April 1st, 2021

Dear Customers,

Spring is bringing a breath of freshness to 2021. The Portolano will reopen its doors and welcomes you for peaceful and convivial moments.  We think that our dishes and the wines from our cellar are just the thing after a hard and long winter. We are ready to devote all our best energy to providing you with superb culinary experiences.

Sardinia has been promoted as a “white zone”, on the basis of our National Pandemic Rules. This gives us the opportunity to host you for lunch and for dinner.  You will appreciate the magnificent colors of the sunset on Tavolara, and the peaceful sound of the sea will delight your nights.

Opening date is Thursday 1 April and we will be open until Monday 5 April  (the entire Easter break). During the remaining time in April, we will be open Thursdays to Sundays.

Lunch   12am –  2.30pm
Dinner   7pm – 10.30pm

We look forward to welcoming you at the Portolano in Port San Paolo and to spoil you with our 2021 specialties.

Summer 2020: reopening with a new chef

Il Portolano reopens with a new chef de cuisine!

It is the great come back of Luca Sanna, born in 1984 in Padria, a small village in the north west of Sardinia. After his debut as a young commis at Il Portolano he improved his knowledge of the Sardinian and Mediterranean Cuisine in other famous restaurants around northern Sardinia during the summer seasons and in northern Italy during the winter time. He then completed his path with an international experience in Brighton.

 

With ability Luca creates unique dishes using the finest seasonal ingredients of the island, inspired both by his Sardinian and Mediterranean tradition and also by elements of the international cuisine.

 

Our guests may certainly look forward to experiencing an exclusive culinary voyage.
